— This upcoming video may not be available to view yet.

Heavenly Cloud
Congratulations! You scored 18 CuddlePoints out of 22!

Cuddling with you, is like sleeping on a cloud… it doesnt get ANY better than that… You are the BEST Cuddler there is, and there isn’t anyone (well… except maybe the Stone Slab) who wouldn’t want to cuddle with you! In fact… Wanna come cuddle?

I’m cuddly! *grin* o/ Anyone disagree? :-P

Global Gypsy
You scored 63% worldliness!

You are a true internationalist. For you home is not defined by a country but by your family and friends, many of whom are internationalists like you.

Hmm.. well, pretty much what I thought.. Haven’t called any place home really for a few years now.. is that a good or a bad thing?

New Classics
You scored 63 popularity, 44 history, 56 creativity, and 54 texture!

You like common, modern-sounding names, that have some flair but still feel down to earth, like Karen, Jeremy, Brendan and Melissa. They’ve been around for a couple generations, so they don’t sound weird, but they don’t feel like shiny plastic toys that just tumbled off the assembly line either, because everyone knew someone by these names growing up. These names have their own section as New Classics in The Baby Name Wizard, and share some traits with the more dated 70’s and 80’s catagory. Other catagories with names you might like are: Old-Fashioned, Tryndee, Legendary, Biblical The naming style most unlike yours is Fantasy. You groan when you hear that someone named their baby Mystique or Frodo, and suspect the poor kid will be teased mercilessly. It’s not likely you’ll find many names to agree on with somone who has that naming style.

Definitely not calling my future kid(s) Frodo or Eowyn or anything like that..

Writing again!

— This upcoming video may not be available to view yet.

Well.. our assignment was supposed to be only 250 words, but as usual, I wrote over the limit. But it’s okay, according to my teacher. We’ll just have to cut it down if we use it in class. Most of what I write will probably wind up in my portfolio. Seeing as it’s gotta contain both poetry and prose (2,500 words’ worth), it should be pretty easy. It’s the commentary that’s worrying me..

Still, click here if you wanna read it. Please do and tell me what you thought! The good and bad.. anything and everything you think. =)

Brainy Student
51% Tastefulness, 58% Originality, 42% Deliberateness, 34% Sexiness

[Tasteful Original Random Prissy]

Your style is classic but not glamorous. You don’t concentrate on clothes an awful lot, preferring to spend your time on more interesting matters. You don’t want to look like everyone else and your probably take care to have a unique element or two in your outfits, just to emphasize your personality, but, on the other hand, you don’t need too much attention paid to your looks. Believe it or not, fashion says some things about character. You’re probably quite an intellectual and somewhat reserved. But your style is not bad.

The opposite style from yours is Sex Bomb [Flamboyant Conventional Deliberate Sexy].

Lovely Monday sched

— This upcoming video may not be available to view yet.

Well, just when I thought my Mondays were bad enough (from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) the listening skills part of French is being moved to 9 a.m. from it’s 1 p.m. position on Friday! Luuuuuuurvely. *rolls eyes* But at least the rest of my week is fairly easy. ^-^ Like today and tomorrow, nothing. No classes. Gives me time to complete assignments for Writer’s Art and Study of English seminars. So for Friday I have to write 250 words worth of descriptive prose. Should be simple enough. I’ve already done all the observations I need for it, now I just gotta write it out. That is, if the teacher approves of my idea. I wasn’t so sure it was exactly what he wanted so I e-mailed him and asked. No reply yet.. I thought I was going to get the list of possible essay topics yesterday at the lecture but the guy didn’t give us any! Mih.. I wanted to start thinking of stuff to write about. I won’t be getting any work done this weekend so a headstart would’ve been nice…..

Colored

When I born, I black. When I grow up, I black. When I go in sun, I black When I cold, I black. When I scared, I black. When I sick, I black. And when I die, I still black.

You white folks…… When you born, you pink. When you grow up, you white. When you go in sun, you red. When you cold, you blue. When you scared, you yellow. When you sick, you green. When you bruised, you purple. And when you die, you gray.

So who you calling colored?

I have no idea who wrote this, but apparently it was by a black guy in Texas. Anyway, I just thought I’d share. ^-^

Tix!

— This upcoming video may not be available to view yet.

I finally have my train tickets to go see Oliver and Ryan next weekend! Altogether it cost me £52, but £20 was the railcard. And the railcard gave a 34% discount immediately. So it’ll be well worth it, even if I only take one more trip with it. ^-^ And I plan on seeing Oliver once a month at least. So it’ll really pay for itself in the following months.

Hmm.. other news. Not much really. Had French. Went into town with Linnea, bought French books.. I realized I had left my pictures back in my room, so I had to come back up and get them before I went to get my tickets. So when I took the bus back, I didn’t realize it was the bus that took me back to the train station, not up the hill.. All I saw was 501. So I just waited for the next 501 to show up at the station and talked to Lewis on the way back up. He happened to be in town buying books as well. Then when I got back from buying the tickets I decided to have dinner at the cafeteria (didn’t feel like cooking). I got loads of food for just £1,79! It’s amazing. And it wasn’t that bad either. I’ll have to go there again..

Waiting for mail

— This upcoming video may not be available to view yet.

Still no mail. Weird. I really want my bank card! And no e-mails either. Except from teachers, which is kinda unsettling. Friends don’t send me e-mails, but teachers do.. o_O;; Then again, I do talk to them on MSN Msgr so I can’t really complain. Except when they’re not there.. like now.

Yesterday.. didn’t do much. Went into town, bought a sweater (B.wise is a really cheap store!), sat by the seaside and wrote haikus (gonna put them up here later tonight probably), came back, had lunch outside and then wrote a letter to Jaz & Jade. That’s basically it. No classes.. Today I’ve only got one seminar which doesn’t start until 4 p.m. So I gotta figure out how to while away the hours before it’s time to go there.. It’s at times like these when I really wish that I had my own computer. Then I wouldn’t be so bored. I’ve already started the tasks on Dr. Faustus which don’t need to be done until like next week! I think today’s when they actually tell us when the tasks are due. I’m just a bit nervous about the essays that we have to write. Well, at least we don’t have any exams. ^-^ French listening is most likely being moved to Tuesday morning. So that means I could (in theory) make it to the 1:30 train. o/ I timed myself yesterday; I left the Porter’s Lodge at about 11:05 and I was on the platform next to the train at 11:24. I didn’t run, but I did walk a bit faster than I usually do. So especially if I run down the hill (could be dangerous), I’ll have a pretty good chance of making it. Which means (that if the train isn’t delayed and I make it to the connecting train at Birmigham) I should be in Sheffield at about 6 p.m. Not bad.. I wasn’t expecting to get there until like midnight if I’d’ve had to take the 5:15 train. So that’s like 3 hrs off the train journey. ^-^

I’m probably now gonna go back to looking up recipied on LHJ. Got loads of different pancake ones yesterday.

Funny.. I didn’t think I was extroverted..

Televangelist
You are 42% Rational, 57% Extroverted, 0% Brutal, and 57% Arrogant.

As the Lord as my witness, I swear upon the good book that you are indeed the TELEVANGELIST! Characterized by extreme arrogance, self-assurance, and extroversion, you would make a very charismatic leader (or a very despotic one). On top of that, you are also more intuitive than rational, predisposing you to a more spiritual or emotional outlook on life. Thus, you are thoroughly irrational. You also tend to be rather gentle and considerate of others’ feelings. Clearly, you would make the perfect televangelist. Emotional, extroverted, arrogant, and gentle, you annoy the hell out of people who have to listen to the feel-good, intuitive shit spewing from your mouth. Not only that, but people may look down on you as a self-centered asshat. So while you are gentle and genuinely care about others, it is quite clear that you still care about yourself MORE. Why is your personality flawed? Because you are too damned extroverted, emotional, and arrogant. So preach your irrational message, brotha-man! I assure you, no one will be listening!

To put it less negatively:

1. You are more INTUITIVE than rational.

2. You are more EXTROVERTED than introverted.

3. You are more GENTLE than brutal.

4. You are more ARROGANT than humble.

Compatibility:

Your exact opposite is the Spiteful Loner.

Other personalities you would probably get along with are the Hippie, the Starving Artist, and the Robot.

*

*

If you scored near fifty percent for a certain trait (42%-58%), you could very well go either way. For example, someone with 42% Extroversion is slightly leaning towards being an introvert, but is close enough to being an extrovert to be classified that way as well. Below is a list of the other personality types so that you can determine which other possible categories you may fill if you scored near fifty percent for certain traits.

The other personality types:

The Emo Kid: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Starving Artist: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Bitch-Slap: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Brute: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Hippie: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Televangelist: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Schoolyard Bully: Intuitive, Extroverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Class Clown: Intuitive, Extroverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Robot: Rational, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Haughty Intellectual: Rational, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Spiteful Loner: Rational, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Sociopath: Rational, Introverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Hand-Raiser: Rational, Extroverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Braggart: Rational, Extroverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Capitalist Pig: Rational, Extroverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Smartass: Rational, Extroverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

My first whole school day!

— This upcoming video may not be available to view yet.

Okay. First Monday is done. Had a two hour Writer’s Art seminar. The teacher for that was about 20 mins late. Sort of a weird guy. But hey, he’s an American. We have to write three haiku poems for him by Friday midnight. Yech. I hate writing poetry. But I’ll deal. I’ve written haiku and tanka stuff earlier so I should be able to churn out something. As part of our class, we had to go outside and just observe things. No talking allowed. Loads of students who were passing us by gave us strange looks. We just ignored them. It was actually sort of like spying. I saw two men in suits talking and one of them almost tripped. Loads of students on cell phones. Groups of 2 & 3 going by.

Then, French writing for two hours! Yay. -_- Since it’s Basic French, I’m the most advanced one over there. Which is totally what I expected. It’s just soooooo boring in that class. Like today, we spent most of the time reviewing and teaching some of the students the verbs avoir and etre. On the plus side, the teacher is gorgeous. And his accent.. both in French and English.. Well, eye-candy is always good. And he isn’t this stuffy lecturer that I thought that we might get. ^-^

The English lecture.. well, not bad. Pretty obvious stuff. But I did learn that I have to get a module booklet thingy tomorrow. Costs just £1. Not too pricey. Of course, I’d prefer it if it were free, but I understand that they need money to pay for the paper.

During the weekend, something really funny happened. It’s 1 a.m. or so and Meilyr’s hungry so he’s having a pizza in the kitchen. This guy with a vodka bottle taped to his right hand staggers in and starts talking about how he’s looking for another party since the one he was at ended and everyone was crying. Then he starts going on about bin bags and how he doesn’t have any. So when this guy sticks his head inside our fridge, Meilyr pulls him away from there, shoves a bin bag into his hand and basically throws him out the flat. And from then on, we’ve begun to keep out flat door locked. Not wedged open like before, but locked. No one can get into our fridge during the night while we sleep. ^-^

Then yesterday, when we were preparing our roast dinner (only £1,30 per person!) we found out that the baking tray we had put the chicken on was too big. We had no other baking trays so we took the handle off of one of my frying pans and stuck that in the oven. So now we sort of have a baking tray.. o_O Well, at least I won’t have to go out and buy one. Just use my “frying pan”. Didn’t really use that frying pan anyway. Too big.

Well.. I think that’s it for now.
